Dare To Believe. . .

“Evil is isn’t born, it’s made and so is good. – Once Upon A Time”

I have toyed over and over again with the idea of good and bad hearts. We are taught at a young age through fairy tales, that good always wins. I believe that this holds true, even though sometimes it can appear that evil can go undefeated. The purpose of being good and having a good heart, is not for others to see, but for our own intentions, and our own inner satisfactions. If you smile at someone who didn’t hold the door for you, it makes you feel kind of good, that maybe you somehow brighten their, what seems to be miserable day. A lot of people we meet are very self-absorbed, and reflect only upon themselves, and yes their lives may be surrounded by brand names, and fancy cars, but those are just things that are bought. Those things hold no meaning, no life, and they are completely empty. Having a good heart may not bring you to the fanciest house, but it will bring you to the fullest life. A life full of love, joy, and true deep connections. The deep connection of all being with yourself. So when you see one door shut in your face, smile back, because somewhere in that heart of that person is good. Sometimes it just takes the right person to bring it out in them. Choose good, and dare to believe, that good always wins.

“Only you can shape your destiny but if you believe you’re evil then that is what you’ll become.”

  1. Having a good heart also feels good when you rest your head for the night on your pillow. I often wonder how evil people live with themselves, especially at night when they’re alone with only their thoughts. Excellent post!

  2. Totally true!!! Half the battle is how you respond to the unpleasantness in your life!! It’s not always easy to respond to meanness with kindness, but at the end of the day, it’s important to hold true to yourself and to never let anyone else bring you down!! Love this post!!
