Throughout life, I have wanted this, wanted that, and always had such a tight grip because I wanted my life to be arranged just so. I had many desires and expectations regarding my life and my plan for it. But what I’ve come to realize that the journey is not arranging my life just so, but to continually seeking and being open to find the journey of your soul. Consciously we could become discomforted by the idea of throwing caution to the wind and being open, but if we can see beyond the surface, we can begin to experience with the heart of our souls. We will feel completely empowered by the depth we find. It is here we will learn about power, love, faith, hope, letting go, embracing new, and courage. Opening up is not something that we do a few times in life, but rather, it has to be our way of life. Life is always going to throw us curve balls and make us want to close off, and put up a wall. When we make a commitment to ourselves to be open, no matter what life “does to us,” we are choosing how we want to live. It may be risky to love, to feel, to believe and be open, because at one point in your life you were burned or betrayed. But that insecurity only comes from not trusting and cherishing your own heart. Open your heart and believe. Learn to see life with the heart of your soul and experience your truths and let your soul lead on this beautiful journey of life.
“Evil is isn’t born, it’s made and so is good. – Once Upon A Time”
I have toyed over and over again with the idea of good and bad hearts. We are taught at a young age through fairy tales, that good always wins. I believe that this holds true, even though sometimes it can appear that evil can go undefeated. The purpose of being good and having a good heart, is not for others to see, but for our own intentions, and our own inner satisfactions. If you smile at someone who didn’t hold the door for you, it makes you feel kind of good, that maybe you somehow brighten their, what seems to be miserable day. A lot of people we meet are very self-absorbed, and reflect only upon themselves, and yes their lives may be surrounded by brand names, and fancy cars, but those are just things that are bought. Those things hold no meaning, no life, and they are completely empty. Having a good heart may not bring you to the fanciest house, but it will bring you to the fullest life. A life full of love, joy, and true deep connections. The deep connection of all being with yourself. So when you see one door shut in your face, smile back, because somewhere in that heart of that person is good. Sometimes it just takes the right person to bring it out in them. Choose good, and dare to believe, that good always wins.
“Only you can shape your destiny but if you believe you’re evil then that is what you’ll become.”
Happy Monday!! I have been sick with Lyme Disease for those of you who know, but what most of you do not know, is this winter I was given a one dose IV in the ER, and the reaction I had from that one dose has been unimaginable. It has tested my patience, through this long recovery. I am still very patient, and extremely grateful for everything around me. The posts from my WordPress friends and small exchanges make every moment just a little easier. But not everyone in life is as understanding. This bump in the road has also made me aware of my surroundings. Everyone is happy to be around, and call you when you are grand and wonderful, but when you are unable to go out, or are of no use to them, you see a different side. It’s painful to see the reality of this, but I am also grateful to learn the real friends, from the not so supportive ones. My sun is rising again, and I will be using this anchor to help me forward. It’s about spending more time with those who make us better, and look at the best in us, even when we are at our worst. Unfortunately, it takes moments like this to see clearly. But I am SO grateful and fortunate for those who have been a crutch in this rainy storm. So Thank you! Here I Am! Finding my sunshine!
“The difference lies not in the uncertain future but in you and the authenticity of your vision. You are the source. With you and in you, the spark is ignited. This isn’t knowledge that you learn. It’s knowledge that you become.”
After finding this quote, I finally return home to my blog. I’ve spent the last two weeks beating myself up, living in self-pity of all the things I’m not. I allowed doors in my mind to be opened, when I should have said no thank you, I am strong and heathy! My vision was corrupted by the weakened state of health, but I am here to declare I no longer will give in. This is the card I have been dealt at this point in my life, but in my vision for the future, I see no sight of these struggles. I see myself mountaintop, conquering each and every battle thrown at me. You must see your future every single day, even if your standards are too high. Shoot for the moon, and see yourself getting there and with faith, hope and strength, you will! We are on this journey together, so grab my hand, and let’s hike up!
