Do you believe in magic?

“Everyone wants a magical solution to their problems and [yet] everyone refuses to believe in magic”Once Upon a Time,The Mad Hatter

In our society today we assume that there is always a solution for a problem that arises. It’s just a Google search away right? Wrong! Sometimes so many things come piling on us out of nowhere, we have no choice but to just believe it will work out. So many people don’t believe in this thing called magic. It is true that they want some quick fix, but honestly, you must believe with everything inside your body to make it come true. Sometimes we need to push further than we ever imagined. We need to let go of searching for a magical solution and accept the uncertainty. If we just give that extra push, we may find that magic lies right around the bend.Trust, trust, and trust some more that the answer will come.¬†

Beautiful Disaster. . .

“Sometimes the dustiest cover hides the best book. Sometimes the best cup is chipped.”-Once Upon A Time

Sometimes imperfections in life steer us away from greatness. Imperfections come in many different shapes and sizes, from a boss you can’t stand in an ideal job, to a relationship that has minor hardships. But the biggest imperfections in life, are the ones we place on ourselves. How many times a day do you judge not only yourself, but your actions? How many times do you look in the mirror and pick one thing that’s wrong with your appearance? Imagine if instead, each morning we picked one thing we loved about ourselves, and didn’t want to change in the least. We would be so happy and positive about our appearance, and more accepting of ourselves. Stop picking on yourself, and instead be and accept yourself. Shine your imperfections, and be who you are. When we look at a flower, where do the imperfections begin and end? The whole picture is perfect, the in between do not need to be magnified. We always want to challenge ourselves and push ourselves to the limit, but along the way a little pat on the back is not only nice, but uplifting and will get us to our end goal faster. Yes we are that chipped cup, but if others can look past our chip, can’t we ourselves do the same? You are beautifully flawed, and ¬†imperfectly perfect!

Dare To Believe. . .

“Evil is isn’t born, it’s made and so is good. – Once Upon A Time”

I have toyed over and over again with the idea of good and bad hearts. We are taught at a young age through fairy tales, that good always wins. I believe that this holds true, even though sometimes it can appear that evil can go undefeated. The purpose of being good and having a good heart, is not for others to see, but for our own intentions, and our own inner satisfactions. If you smile at someone who didn’t hold the door for you, it makes you feel kind of good, that maybe you somehow brighten their, what seems to be miserable day. A lot of people we meet are very self-absorbed, and reflect only upon themselves, and yes their lives may be surrounded by brand names, and fancy cars, but those are just things that are bought. Those things hold no meaning, no life, and they are completely empty. Having a good heart may not bring you to the fanciest house, but it will bring you to the fullest life. A life full of love, joy, and true deep connections. The deep connection of all being with yourself. So when you see one door shut in your face, smile back, because somewhere in that heart of that person is good. Sometimes it just takes the right person to bring it out in them. Choose good, and dare to believe, that good always wins.

“Only you can shape your destiny but if you believe you’re evil then that is what you’ll become.”
